The two core customer segments for Lola's Escape and how to speak to each one.
Segment 1
A couple aged roughly 28–65 who want peace, privacy, and something more special than a hotel.
May be married couples, long-term partners, couples with children who want a break without the kids, older couples looking for peace, or international tourists looking for a private Irish countryside experience.
They are not looking for a cheap bed for the night. They are looking for peace, privacy, comfort, atmosphere, and something different from a hotel.
Privacy
A private indoor heated pool is much more powerful than simply "a pool". Hotels have pools, but hotel pools are shared. Frame it as: "your own private indoor heated pool experience".
Peace and Quiet
They are not coming for entertainment. You are selling "a place where nothing needs to happen". That is a strong off-season message.
The Pool Experience
For couples, the pool is not a kids' activity. It is evening swims, warm water, soft lighting, relaxation, privacy, and luxury. Your nighttime pool photos are your strongest sales asset.
A Break from Normal Life
They may be tired of hotels, restaurants, busy towns, city noise, family responsibilities, and work pressure. Your property gives them space, calm, privacy, and an unusual stay.
Bad copy
One-bedroom apartment with indoor pool and mountain views.
Better copy
Slow down together in a peaceful countryside retreat with your own private heated indoor pool and views across the Galty Mountains.
Avatar 1
A couple in their 30s or 40s, possibly with kids but travelling without them. They want one or two nights away — privacy, a swim, a bottle of wine, quiet morning coffee.
"We just need a break."
"I don't want a hotel full of people."
"This place looks peaceful."
"The pool looks amazing."
"It's expensive, but it feels like a proper treat."
Avatar 2
A couple aged 55–75. They travel outside school holidays. They want comfort, scenery, safety, and quiet. They are not chasing bargains if the place feels right.
What matters: easy parking, comfort, cleanliness, heating, quiet, safety, clear directions, nearby places to eat.
Do not call this page "elderly escape". Use: peaceful countryside retreat, quiet break in North Cork, relaxing escape near the Galty Mountains.
Avatar 3
A couple visiting Ireland from the US, UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, or elsewhere. They want an authentic Irish countryside stay. They are searching for experience-led stays, not "Mitchelstown accommodation".
What matters: clear location, drive times, parking, countryside experience, scenic views, safety, authenticity, strong photography, simple booking.
Do not over-emphasise family features. They do not want to feel they are booking a children's activity centre.
Is Lola's Escape suitable for couples?
Yes. Lola's Escape is ideal for couples looking for a quiet countryside break with privacy, mountain views, and access to a private indoor heated pool.
Is the pool private?
Answer this clearly based on the actual setup. Do not be vague. Vague pool wording will kill bookings.
Is it romantic?
Do not overdo the word 'romantic'. Better: It is best suited to couples who want peace, privacy, and time together rather than a busy hotel or nightlife-focused break.
Is it suitable for a quiet anniversary or birthday?
Yes. Many couples choose Lola's Escape for birthdays, anniversaries, or simply a quiet night away together.
Why book here instead of a hotel?
Because hotels are shared and standardised. Lola's Escape offers privacy, countryside views, friendly animals, and access to an indoor heated pool in a more personal setting.
Are parties allowed?
No. Say it politely but firmly: Lola's Escape is part of a private residence and is best suited to quiet stays. It is not suitable for parties, events, or loud groups.
Do not lead with:
Bunk beds, football field, kids, pony storytelling, or "family getaway". Those belong on the family page.
Segment 2
A parent or guardian aged roughly 30–50 who wants a place where the kids are happy and the adults get a break.
Families with young children, primary school-aged children, or children who love animals and need space to run around. Much more calendar-dependent — booking around Easter, summer, Halloween midterm, Christmas, and bank holiday weekends.
They are weak in April, May, September, and October. Valuable in peak times.
The Pool (as entertainment)
For families, the pool is not luxury first — it is entertainment. In Ireland, this is massive because weather ruins outdoor plans all the time. Message: "Whatever the weather, the kids can enjoy the indoor heated pool."
Animals
A major family feature. Present animals honestly. Do not imply petting zoo access unless that is what actually happens. Good wording: "Children love seeing Lola the pony and the other friendly animals who live on the property."
Football Field / Outdoor Play
Parents want children to burn energy. Frame as: "Space for kids to run, play football, and enjoy the countryside." Especially valuable for families from towns or cities.
Sleeping Setup
One double bed plus a triple bunk is ideal for parents with kids. Say: "The layout works especially well for two adults and up to three children." Never say "sleeps five" — that attracts five adults.
Avatar 1
Two parents with two or three children aged 3–12. Living in Ireland, wanting a short break during school holidays. May not want the hassle or cost of flying abroad.
What makes them book: pool photos, animal photos, child-friendly language, clear sleeping setup, reviews from other families, availability during school breaks.
Avatar 2
A parent planning a break in Ireland and worrying about weather. The answer is your pool. The family page should say: "A family break that does not depend on the weather." That is a powerful line.
Avatar 3
Parents whose children love animals, farms, ponies, donkeys, and countryside stays. The Lola storytelling works well here. But keep it on the family page — the Lola character is a family asset, not a couples asset.
Is Lola's Escape suitable for families?
Yes. Especially well suited to families with children, with an indoor heated pool, friendly animals, countryside views, and space for outdoor play.
How many people can stay?
The apartment can sleep up to five, but the layout is best suited to two adults and up to three children. Use this wording everywhere.
Is it suitable for five adults?
No, not ideally. The sleeping arrangement is designed with families in mind. It is not best suited to groups of five adults.
Is the pool suitable for children?
Yes, but state supervision rules clearly. Example: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the pool.
Can children meet the animals?
Be precise. Example: Children can see Lola the pony and the other animals on the property. Any interaction with animals should be arranged with the hosts and supervised.
What happens if it rains?
The indoor heated pool means families still have something special to enjoy, even when the weather does not cooperate.
Are parties allowed?
No. Even on the family page say: Lola's Escape is part of a private residence and is not suitable for parties, events, or loud gatherings.
The same features sell differently depending on the customer.
| Feature | For Couples | For Families |
|---|---|---|
| Pool | Private, atmospheric, relaxing, premium. | Fun, weather-proof, child-friendly, memorable. |
| Animals | Charming countryside atmosphere. | Exciting experience for children. |
| Football field | Barely mention it. | Major benefit. |
| Bunk bed | Do not lead with it. | Strong practical advantage. |
| Mountain views | Romantic, peaceful, scenic. | Fresh air, countryside setting, space. |
You should not market Lola's Escape as one generic property. You need two distinct messages.
Couples message
A peaceful private countryside escape with an indoor heated pool and views of the Galty Mountains.
Family message
A fun, weather-proof family getaway with an indoor heated pool, animals, and space for children to play.
Same property. Different emotional promise. That is the strategy.
